We inform our users that, starting on March 16, 2020, and indefinitely, a state of emergency began throughout the national territory in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These measures include rigorous hygiene habits and a distance from crowded places. In the specific case of traveling by bus, it has been temporarily suspended at the interprovincial level since they are activities that bring together a large number of people, both in vehicles and in land terminals in each of the cities of Peru. If you take any transportation system, keep in mind the following recommendations:

In extreme cases, where traveling is mandatory, a series of restrictions must be made in order to preserve the health of both the traveler and the rest of the people who are in each of the buses and in the terminals. This series of standards include:

  • Regular hand washing for more than 20 seconds, especially before getting on a bus and after getting off a bus.

  • Do not greet with a kiss, hug or any other type of physical contact, neither to the people traveling with you nor to any other passenger.

  • Use an antibacterial when you are inside the bus, although this does not replace hand washing.

  • Avoid, if possible, any type of contact with elements of the bus other than the seat, such as tubes, windows and even monitors.

  • When coughing and/or sneezing, the mouth must be completely covered with the elbow to avoid any type of spread.

  • The use of disposable gloves and face masks is recommended during travel to prevent further contagion.

  • The staff who work in the terminals and bus operators must also abide by these rules and make sure to keep each of the spaces where users pass, such as buses, toilets, ticket offices, corridors and waiting rooms, among others, clean and disinfected.

Let's wait for the prompt reactivation of the interprovincial transport following all the security measures, meanwhile respect this quarantine time and let's stay safe at home.
